    Dream Park Theme Park

    Teams built a themed section of an amusement park, including at least one motorized attraction.

    Space Smash

    Teams constructed an alien or space-themed sculpture designed to break apart dramatically on cue.

    Need for Speed / Super-Bridges

    Teams built a bridge structure capable of physically supporting weight, tied to a vehicle/speed theme.

    • Boone & Mark: Built the Green Machine derby car, also called Lime Time, then a Beam Bridge that supported the maximum 1,000 pounds allowed in the weight test.
    • Samuel & Jessica: Built the Black Beauty derby car, then a Pillars style bridge that supported 125 pounds in the weight test.
    • Christian & Aaron: Built the Cream Sickle Sledgehammer derby car, then an Arch & Truss bridge that supported 445 pounds in the weight test.
    • Mel & Jermaine: Built the Rad Racer derby car, then an A-Frame bridge across the six foot span; their bridge did not end up level with their connecting road.
    • Flynn & Richard: Built the Rolling Coaster derby car, then a Double Truss bridge that supported 45 pounds in the weight test.

    Storybook

    Teams built a scene from a story, with children brought onto the show contributing story ideas; a second page/scene was added incorporating the kids' individual additions.

    Teams chose two minifigures later assigned as hero or villain, built that character's lair, then were paired with another team to stage a battle scene between the lairs.

    • Samuel & Jessica: Built Shower Guy's Basement as their character lair, then joined Boone & Mark's build in a Pizza Minions vs Rubber Duckies battle scene.
    • Christian & Aaron: Built the Tech Center as their character lair, then joined Tyler & Amy's build in a Fire Scorpion vs Robot battle scene.

  9. Ep 9

    Star Wars

    Teams completed two linked challenges: building a motorized droid and recreating an iconic scene from the Star Wars films.

    • Tyler & Amy: Built the motorized droid EZ-PZ, then recreated the AT-AT assault on Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.
    • Boone & Mark: Built the motorized droid Imperial Welder, also called SBTG85, then recreated the Endor Imperial bunker fight from Return of the Jedi, including an AT-ST.
    • Samuel & Jessica: Built the motorized droid MP3, which malfunctioned during its demonstration, then recreated the Battle of Crait from The Last Jedi with a dynamic effect of sand shooting up.

  10. Ep 10

    Finals

    The two finalist teams each had 24 hours to create an original LEGO art sculpture of their own choosing.
